Job Description
Position Overview:
The Office Manager/Controller is a key financial and administrative leadership position
responsible for managing the cooperative's day-to-day accounting and financial operations while
overseeing office administration and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
● Manage daily accounting and financial operations.
● Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
● Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and General Ledger
functions.
● Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
● Coordinate quarterly and annual audits and regulatory reporting.
● Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards and
cooperative policies.
● Supervise office staff and administrative functions.
● Provide management with financial analysis and strategic-planning support.
● Manage employee records, benefits administration, and assigned HR functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related
field preferred.
● Previous accounting and financial-management experience required.
● Agricultural/cooperative, grain, agronomy, energy, or feed-industry experience is
preferred.
● Strong computer and accounting-software skills.
● Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
● Ability to handle confidential information and work independently.
