Family Practice Physician

Position: Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO)
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Type: Will entertain locums or FT
Setting: Outpatient primary care, all ages (peds through adult)

Compensation

• ~$290K total comp — not assuming full bonus attainment; upside above that
• $25K sign on bonus, one-time, on top of the $290K
• Year one: ~$315K minimum
• Bi-annual bonus
• Health/dental/vision, 401k, PTO, CME

Schedule

• Mon–Fri, 8a–5p
• No call, no evenings, no weekends
• Admin time blocked AM and PM — charting done in-clinic

Volume & Model

• 8–14 patients/day
• 30- and 60-min appointment slots
• Value-based; no RVU or productivity targets
• Small panels, integrated care team
• Emphasis: lifestyle medicine, prevention, chronic disease management, nutrition and patient education

Scope

• Full-spectrum primary care: acute and chronic conditions, physicals, treatment planning, diagnostics, referrals
• Supervision of one or more NPs
• Participation in QI initiatives

Hard Requirements

• MD or DO, accredited U.S. medical school
• BC/BE Family Medicine
• Active unrestricted license (NM or eligible)
• Current BLS
