What You’ll Do
As the Quality Supervisor, you’ll help keep the quality operation running smoothly while supporting and developing the inspection team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting quality inspectors in daily inspection activities
- Assigning priorities and ensuring inspections are completed accurately and on schedule
- Performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of precision-manufactured components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements
- Accurately using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment
- Verifying finished products meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements
- Identifying, documenting, and communicating nonconforming materials or products
- Working closely with production employees and leadership to resolve quality concerns
- Helping investigate defects, determine root causes, and support corrective actions
- Maintaining accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and reports
- Reinforcing inspection procedures and quality-system requirements
- Training, coaching, and supporting quality team members
- Assisting with internal audits, customer requirements, and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, precision, and quality
What You Bring
We’re looking for a quality professional who is technically confident, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking the lead.
Required Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- 1–3 years of supervisory, team-lead, or quality leadership experience preferred
- Experience working in aerospace manufacturing
- Proficiency using micrometers, calipers, and other inspection equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and dimensional tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with quality, production, and management teams
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to applicable position requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in precision metal manufacturing or an AS9100 quality environment
- Familiarity with nonconformance reporting, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis
