Position: Assembler
Pay: $18.00
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm, with lots of OT
Location: Joliet, IL

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery in the production process
• Set up machinery as needed for manufacturing
• Inspect materials and finished products for quality
• Assist in loading raw materials using overhead crane
• Transport raw materials via overhead crane or forklift
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure safety and efficiency
• Assist with lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills and math proficiency
• Prior experience in a production environment preferred
• High school diploma or GED is a plus

Skills

• Machine Operator familiarity
• Forklift (sit-down) operation skills
• Attention to detail and good organization
• Ability to stand long periods and lift at least 50 lbs
• Knowledge of production equipment and machinery
