Bilingual Delivery Driver

Job Description

This role combines professional delivery driving with warehouse and counter support in a busy warehouse and retail showroom environment. You will safely load, transport, and deliver products to customers, while also assisting with order fulfillment, inventory control, and customer service at the counter. The position requires strong attention to safety, accuracy, and organization, as well as the ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load, transport, and deliver products to customers according to the established schedule.
  • Verify delivery contents and obtain customer signatures or other proof of delivery for each order.
  • Inspect the delivery vehicle daily and promptly report any maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and all related transport paperwork.
  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers during all deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials as needed at customer sites and in the warehouse.
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and in full compliance with company standards.
  • Report delays, accidents, or transit issues to a supervisor promptly.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments using RF Smart.
  • Accurately pull, stage, and prepare outgoing orders for delivery or customer pickup.
  • Work closely with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain product displays, stock levels, and overall cleanliness and organization of both the counter area and warehouse spaces.
  • Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and restocking shelves.
  • Maintain organized paperwork and documentation within daily operational processes.
  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

Essential Skills

  • Experience as a delivery driver, including driving box trucks and vans to customer sites.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
  • Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, route planning, and on-time delivery.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience working in logistics, warehouse, or distribution environments.
  • Ability to use RF Smart or similar systems for receiving and processing shipments.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate logs, reports, and paperwork.
  • Professional, customer-focused communication skills at delivery sites and the counter.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language (bilingual).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operations, including order pulling, staging, and inventory control.
  • in maintaining stock levels, product displays, and warehouse or retail organization.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures in warehouse and driving environments.
  • Comfort working closely with warehouse and sales teams to coordinate order fulfillment.
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized work area and delivery vehicle.
  • Strong attention to detail when verifying orders, inspecting shipments, and completing documentation.

Work Environment

You will work in a combined warehouse and retail showroom environment that involves frequent standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs, as well as regular operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment. The role follows a day-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a 1-hour lunch break, supporting a consistent routine and minimal weekend work. You will interact regularly with customers at the counter and collaborate closely with warehouse staff, creating a team-oriented atmosphere. Safety is a priority, and you must follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $45760.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
