General Laborer

This role supports daily operations in a manufacturing environment by performing a variety of general labor and production tasks. You will handle materials, assist machine operators, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area to ensure smooth and efficient production.

• Load and unload materials, products, and supplies safely and efficiently.
• Operate basic hand and power tools to support production activities.
• Assist machine operators with setup, material handling, and general support tasks.
• Perform general labor duties such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing work areas.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Report any safety concerns, equipment issues, or production problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and use required safety equipment.
• Perform other production-related tasks as assigned to support overall operations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction environments preferred.
• General labor experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
• Experience working in an industrial production setting.
• Experience with general clean-up and maintaining work area cleanliness.
• Strong work ethic with a focus on productivity and quality.
• Strong attention to safety and adherence to safety procedures.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Experience performing general labor tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and material handling.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools in an industrial or production environment.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and assist where needed across production.

This position is based in a manufacturing and industrial production environment. You will work Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., standing for extended periods and frequently lifting up to 50 lbs. The role involves working around machinery, materials, and industrial equipment, as well as performing general clean-up and housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and organized facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Talladega, AL.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
