Job Title: Assembler – Air-Cooled Heat Exchangers

Job Description

This role focuses on assembling, testing, and inspecting air-cooled heat exchanger units to ensure they meet established quality and performance standards. You will work with mechanical components, follow detailed blueprints, and use a variety of hand and power tools in a fast-paced production environment. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble air-cooled heat exchanger units according to blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.
• Use tape measures, hand tools, and power tools to accurately fit, align, and secure mechanical components.
• Inspect assembled units to verify proper fit, alignment, and overall quality, identifying and correcting any defects.
• Perform basic testing of assembled heat exchangers to confirm functionality and adherence to quality standards.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints to determine assembly sequence and component requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
• Handle materials, parts, and assemblies carefully to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience assembling air-cooled heat exchangers.
• Mechanical assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency using tape measures accurately for precise measurements.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in environments focused on air coolers or heat exchanger products.
• Experience in mechanical or industrial assembly roles.

Work Environment

This position is based in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility, so temperatures may vary with the seasons. The role follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing predictable daytime hours. You will work on a production floor using mechanical, hand, and power tools around air-cooled heat exchanger components. The environment is active and fast-paced, with an emphasis on safety, proper use of tools and equipment, and adherence to shop-floor procedures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sapulpa, OK.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Sapulpa,OK.
