Customer Service RepresentativePosition Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a high volume of customer and vendor communications, processing orders accurately and efficiently, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the order fulfillment process. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to a high volume of customer and vendor emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently on a daily basis.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, provide assistance, and route calls to the appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Review inventory availability to support order fulfillment and communicate product availability to customers.
  • Prepare, provide, and distribute pricing information and quotations to customers and vendors.
  • Track and communicate order status updates to customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, backorders, and other customer service concerns.
  • Handle vendor complaints professionally and work collaboratively to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, order information, and documentation within company systems.
  • Coordinate with sales, purchasing, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
  • Perform data entry and administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy.
  • Support additional customer service and office administration functions as needed.
QualificationsRequired:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in an office environment.
  • Experience with order processing, order entry, and data entry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with ERP systems, inventory management software, or order management systems.
  • Experience supporting customers, vendors, or distribution/manufacturing environments.
  • Associate degree or additional business-related coursework.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ontario, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
