Medical Technologist

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Technologist to support accurate, timely, and high-quality laboratory testing within an acute-care environment. This position is ideal for a laboratory professional with a strong academic foundation in Medical Laboratory Science and previous experience working in an acute-care laboratory.

The Medical Technologist will contribute to essential diagnostic services by performing laboratory testing, maintaining quality standards, and working collaboratively with clinical teams to support effective patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Laboratory Science
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute-care laboratory setting
• Strong understanding of clinical laboratory procedures and testing practices
• Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced laboratory environment
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an acute-care laboratory setting
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with laboratory and clinical teams
• Experience performing laboratory testing in a hospital or comparable acute-care environment

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented Medical Technologist with a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science and hands-on acute-care laboratory experience. Candidates with two or more years of hospital laboratory experience will be especially competitive. This individual should value accuracy, quality, reliability, and the important role laboratory diagnostics play in patient care.
