Quality Assurance Inspector
Location: Miramar, FL
Schedule: Second Shift | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector in Miramar, FL, who will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and recommending corrective or improvement measures for finished products to ensure established quality standards are met.
The ideal candidate should have a very positive attitude, be energetic, highly organized, detail-oriented, able to work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced and highly dynamic work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform inspections of in-process products and collect the corresponding documentation.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements at all times within the production area.
- Perform Quality Assurance activities, including sampling, inspections, and testing designed to ensure manufactured products comply with internal SOPs, safety initiatives, company policies, and FDA and DEA regulations.
- Document all work performed accurately and completely and report any deviations from established standards or procedures to management.
- Inspect and approve rooms, production lines, and equipment before use by Manufacturing and R&D personnel.
- Approve components for in-process operations.
- Monitor manufacturing and packaging areas to ensure compliance with internal SOPs, cGMP requirements, and FDA/DEA regulations.
- Document all work activities in the appropriate batch records, forms, and logs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collect samples of in-process and finished products and perform the required inspections and testing.
- Process and distribute samples to the appropriate departments.
- Review cGMP compliance records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation practices.
- Apply disposition status to components and in-process materials.
- Issue QA alerts when questionable components, in-process materials, or products are identified at any stage of production or storage.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
- 1–3 years of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Basic computer and math skills.
