QC Technician

QC Technician (2 Needed)The position is 8;00am – 4:30pm daily Monday – Friday. ½ hr. unpaid lunchThe responsibilities include checking and verifying all production standards and measurement tolerances, are being held throughout the entire shift - On the production / warehouse floor at all times - Checking and verifying all outgoing shipments for accuracy including materials and counts as well as tolerancesMid entry level range with QC Experience and knowledge and familiarity in the following areas:Must be proficient with the use of calipers, micrometers, and tape measuresMust be proficient in reading and understanding tolerances on measurementso   Â  Â  Â Must be able to lift 75 lbso   Â  Â  Â Must be able to keep accurate counts and documentationo   Â  Â  Â Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of times - this includes bending over and liftingo   Â  Â  Â Must be able to use a ladder in cases of stock checks and verifications of tolerances•   Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Communications skills are a must. Interaction with all plant / warehouse staff•   Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Â  Reports to Dennis and Bob (plant manager & assistant plant manager) - Communicating all issues with on shift lead operator
