Material Handler, 1st shift, Mon-Fri 8 am to 4 pm

Our site inAurorais seeking a1stShiftMaterial Handler IIto join our team.An excellent career opportunity for qualified individuals, especially those withMaterial Handling(Warehouse)experience.In thisrolethe successful candidate willsafely complete the duties of production, shipping, receiving, preventative maintenance and improvement teams for PADs and other products, as assigned. Specific duties include polishing pad manufacturing, packaging, computerentryand various other production/warehousing activities.

The key responsibilities of the Operations Associate are:

• Produce, package, and prepare products for shipment.

• Receive rawmaterialand containers,utilizingfork trucks and hand trucks.

• Perform required data entry and record keeping.

• Maintainsafeand clean working environment.

• Immediately address any deviation to PACE values, procedures, policies, etc.

• Participate in continuous improvement teams and activities.

• Comply withplant safety initiatives.

• Perform miscellaneous production and warehouse related tasks (for example:support withcycle count,housekeeping, inventory, incident investigation)

Required Qualifications:

• Technical- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and materials handling.

• Behavioral- Validated leadership ability and team building skills.

• Computer- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, Lotus Notes; experienced in ERP systems data entry.

• Education- High school diploma or GED required.Associate degreein a technical field preferred.

• Experience-2to 3 years of production or warehousing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.Standup Forklift driving experience preferred.

• Physical -Requires manual lifting of up to 40lbs., as needed.

Opening for1stShift:

• Monday - Friday8:00am -4:00pm(overtime may berequired, as per business needs)

• Weekend shifts will vary when needed.

• We care about cleanliness,and the use ofPPE. PPEincludes - steel toe shoes (provided by us), safety glasses. Additional PPErequiredfor certain job functions, such asfull-face mask.
