Quality Lab Technician, 1st shift, 6 am to 2 pm

The Role:

Our site inAurorais seekinga1stShiftQualityLab Technicianto joinour team.The1stShiftQuality Lab Technicianis responsible forthe analytical inspection and testing of incoming materials, intermediates, experimental and final products.In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a focused and talented team of Quality Lab Technicians who support our growing CMP Pads business.

WhatYou'llDo:

• Perform analytical, physical, and visual tests on product for production, development, R&D, materials engineering, and on customer return samples

• Enter data intoSampleManagersystem; recognize and address deviations or non-conformances in products, instruments, and quality standards

• Verify and/or calibrate all test equipmentpermanufacturing recommendations and test methods to ensure data integrity and adherence to ISO9001 standard

• Analyze data or trends and prepare reports for communication to internal stakeholders

• Create Certificates of Analysis for product shipping to customer

• Participate in the maintenance of current lab work instructions andassistin development of new methods and instructions for the quality lab team

• Troubleshoot lab equipment of varying complexity

• Communicate effectively with other team members topromote toa safe, positive, and productive working environment

What We Seek:

• Education / Experience:Bachelor'sdegree in a technical discipline (i.e.Chemistry, Biology, etc.) and/or quality laboratory experience of aminimum1 year

• Knowledge:Statistical software (JMP, Minitab) and/orSampleManagerpreferred

Opening for1stShift:

• Monday - Friday6:00am-2:00pm(overtime may berequired, as per business needs)

• Weekend shifts will vary when needed.

OutstandingCandidatesWillHave:

• Self-motivated and learning disposition, with strong attention to detail and flexibility to change

• Technical knowledge of laboratory analytical equipment and general testing methods

• Understanding of basic statistical methods (SPC/SQC)

• Ability to follow organizational concepts and complex processes to complete work

• Strong written and oral communication skills; proven ability to work in a team
