Genacross Team Members put our mission into action every day, using their skills, talents, and passion, to serve the needs of our community with exceptional care, innovation, and support.Activity Assistant Requirements:Must be at least 18 years oldOhio STNA certification and 1-2 years of long-term care experience preferredBasic computer skills and ability to learn required softwareStrong communication skills and ability to follow directions and respond promptlyWhat will I do as an Activity Assistant?Help plan, implement, and evaluate activities that support residents' social, recreational, emotional, and spiritual needsEncourage resident participation in group programs, hobbies, crafts, religious activities, and community outingsBuild positive relationships with residents and families while creating a warm, engaging environmentAssist with activity schedules, attendance records, program evaluations, supplies, and other required documentationProvide individual visits and activities for residents who are unable to attend group programsHelp transport residents to outings and coordinate activities with families and other departmentsObserve and promptly report changes in residents' conditions, safety concerns, hazards, or suspected abuse or neglectProtect resident confidentiality and follow all safety, emergency, and organizational proceduresGenacross strives to improve the lives of everyone, including our Team Members, who daily enrich the lives of our residents, patients, clients & colleagues.
