Job Summary:

At Aventura at Assumption Village, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care and services to our residents, and we're seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. As a dietary aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients
• Set up and maintain a clean and efficient dining environment, including tables, chairs, and serving areas
• Assist with serving meals, including carrying trays, serving food, and replenishing utensils and supplies
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, waste, and leftovers
• Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment
• Collaborate with dietary staff to prepare special diets and meals for residents with specific needs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure exceptional service and care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect residents' rights
