With a proven reputation as a highly specialized contractor, we proudly serve the government entities and commercial clients across the greater San Antonio area.JOB SUMMARY:We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) HR Generalist to provide critical support during open enrollment from mid-September 2026 – February 2027.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently with moderate supervision. Proficiency in Spanish is required to conduct employee orientations and provide HR support to our Spanish-speaking workforce.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with full-cycle recruiting for field and office rolesCoordinate onboarding and new hire orientationRespond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and company practicesMaintain employee records and ensure accurate data entry in the HRISAdminister benefits programs and support open enrollment activitiesAssist with employee relations, investigations, and corrective actions as neededMonitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment lawsTrack and coordinate employee leave (FMLA, ADA, etc.)Support safety initiatives, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work proceduresPrepare HR reports and assist with audits and documentationPromote company values and support employee engagement effortsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) - must be able to conduct full orientations and provide HR support in Spanish2+ years of generalist-level HR experience (construction or field service industry preferred)Knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best practicesProficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (e.g., Employee Navigator, Sage 100, etc.)Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretionPreferred: Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; PHR or SHRM-CP certification
