The CFO will provide senior-level financial leadership, strategic guidance, and analytical oversight, while ensuring strong internal controls, accurate and high-quality financial reporting, and operational continuity across monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic financial leadership and advisory support to senior agency leadership.Oversee budget execution, funds control, federal financial reporting, and reimbursable programs.Lead analysis of financial performance, risks, trends, and operational requirements.Develop decision-ready financial reports, briefings, and recommendations for executive leadership.Ensure financial assumptions, methodologies, data sources, and supporting analysis are clearly documented.Coordinate financial activities across multiple workstreams and ensure timely delivery of recurring requirements.Strengthen internal controls, quality assurance, audit readiness, and financial management processes.Support cross-training and continuity of financial operations.Ensure compliance with federal financial management, information-security, and suitability requirements.Qualifications12+ years of federal financial management experience.Bachelor's degree requiredDemonstrated experience providing financial leadership to senior/SES-level stakeholders.Strong experience with budget execution, federal reporting, funds control, and reimbursables.PMP, CPA, CGFM, or CDFM preferred.Excellent leadership, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring federal reporting deadlines.Aalis Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
