Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Deaf/ Hard of Hearing Teacher to join our staff and work in an amazing school! Our benefits package includes:Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance with company contributionIRA with company matchingDeaf/ Hard of Hearing Teacher Qualifications:Must hold (or be eligible for) a PA Hearing Impaired PK-12 certificateExperience with Deaf/Hard of Hearing students and ASL skills preferred Deaf/ Hard of Hearing Teacher Responsibilities:Provide direct instruction to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing across grade levels.Support development of language, communication, auditory skills, and academic content.Adapt curriculum and materials to meet individual communication and learning needs.Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations for hearing impairment under Delaware regulation 925Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals, including the required Communication Plan for DHH studentsEnsure students have access to appropriate communication modalities and accommodations.Maintain accurate records, progress monitoring, and required state documentation.Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?If you feel that would be right for this SLP position, please fill out our initial 3-minute, mobile-friendly application so that we can review your information.
