MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVER - HORIZONS | Cedar Rapids, IA Part-time · Tues-Fri, Generally 9:00 am–1:30 pm 

About the role

Make a real difference in the lives of older adults and people with disabilities. As a Meals on Wheels Driver for Horizons, you'll deliver warm meals - and a friendly face - to community members who count on your visit.

What you'll do

• Deliver accurate, timely, and temperature-appropriate meals to clients and designated drop-off locations
• Assist in packing coolers, review meal counts before distribution, and load/unload vehicles
• Perform daily safety check-ins with clients and maintain sanitary delivery practices
• Keep vehicles clean and in working order; adhere to all driving laws at all times
• Complete required paperwork and communicate daily progress with your team and supervisor
• Support pantry operations and other tasks as needed

Requirements

• Valid Iowa driver's license and auto insurance
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR check required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs; walk and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation to and from work
