The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager supports the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets throughout Diggerland USA. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest service, food quality, cleanliness, safety, inventory control, staffing, and financial performance while helping lead a large team of seasonal employees. The Assistant Manager plays a key role in delivering a fun, efficient, and family-friendly dining experience in both the theme park and water park. This is a part-time seasonal position.We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to help oversee day-to-day operations of our diverse food and beverage outlets across the park. This role supports the F&B Manager in ensuring exceptional guest experiences, high-quality food standards, and efficient team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing daily operations across all food and beverage locations within the park, including quick service, snack stands, and sit-down dining venues.Supervise, train, and motivate front-line staff and supervisors to deliver excellent guest service and meet operational standards.Monitor food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health and sanitation regulations (local/state/federal).Support in managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.Help oversee cash handling, point-of-sale operations, and loss prevention practices.Collaborate with the F&B Manager in scheduling, labor forecasting, and managing labor costs.Address guest concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.Monitor and ensure adherence to park policies, procedures, and brand standards.Participate in menu planning, seasonal promotions, and special events.Assist in budget management and cost control efforts.Assist in the maintenance, cleaning, and routine inspection of equipment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field preferred.Minimum 2 years of experience in food and beverage management or supervision, preferably in a high-volume or theme park setting.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Knowledge of food safety practices (ServSafe certification a plus).Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons.Proficient with POS systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career growth within the parkEmployee discounts and park access perksA fun and dynamic work environment
