Job Description
Location: Camp Lejeune, NCValCorp is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Customer Liaison Support personnel to assist with the receiving, staging, and movement of commercial vehicles on the installation. In this role, the employee is responsible for verifying and recording driver and delivery information, contacting the appropriate escort, confirming escort credentials, and releasing vehicles from the staging lot in accordance with all installation laws, regulations, and policies.The position also serves as a Parking and Lot Attendant, overseeing daily parking lot operations, checking vehicles in and out, rotating between gates for operational needs, and moving or parking vehicles when required. The Customer Liaison Support employee controls authorized entry and use of the lot and refers any parking-related issues to the proper authorities for administrative action, ticketing, or other law enforcement activity as appropriate.Professional communication, attention to detail, and consistent adherence to established procedures are essential to success in this role.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesVerify and document driver, vehicle, and delivery information.Contact and coordinate with authorized escorts for arriving vehicles.Confirm escort credentials and authorization before releasing vehicles from the staging area.Monitor and manage daily parking lot operations.Check vehicles in and out of designated parking and staging areas.Control authorized access to parking and staging lots.Move, park, or reposition vehicles as required to support operations.Rotate between gates and assigned work locations based on operational requirements.Report parking violations, unauthorized activity, or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities.Maintain accurate records and follow all installation policies, procedures, and requirements.Provide professional customer service to drivers, visitors, and installation personnel.RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other environmental elements.Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain compliance with installation regulations.Strong communication and customer service skills.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Must be able to obtain and maintain all required installation and base access credentials.Ability to safely move or park vehicles when required.Must be available to work all assigned shifts, including early shifts and occasional Saturdays.Prior experience in parking operations, security, transportation, logistics, or similar roles is preferred but not required.Pre-Employment Training RequirementCandidates selected to advance in the hiring process will be required to successfully complete all customer-required and installation-required training courses prior to final consideration for employment and initiation of installation access credential processing. Training instructions and course access information will be provided by ValCorp during the interview process or upon advancement to the next phase of candidate evaluation. Failure to complete the required training may result in removal from further consideration.All Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must complete a favorable background investigation and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).
