Responsibilities- Operate and maintain assigned ship’s gear cranes to support cargo handling operations.
- Ensure the safety of team members on ships and in the warehouse during all crane activities.
- Perform lifts as required and provide guidance to assigned crew members.
- Conduct pre-job inspections and perform periodic maintenance on cranes to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Monitor load hookup and assess load safety after and during lifts.
- Promptly report any unsafe operations or behaviors to the production manager.
- Support company safety initiatives and adhere to all operational directives and company policies.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating friction and hydraulic cranes in a maritime, industrial, or warehousing environment (preferred).
- Experience in the stevedoring or warehousing industry (preferred).
- Comprehensive knowledge of rig operation and maintenance procedures.
- At least 40 hours of seat time in all assigned equipment.
- Proficiency in equipment and terminal operations.
- Physical ability to safely perform all essential job functions.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and customer service.
- Must possess a valid TWIC Card.

The work environment includes exposure to all weather conditions and varying elevations. Noise levels may require hearing protection. The job site features a range of equipment and vehicles, and rotational shift work is required.
