Production Supervisor – Manufacturing

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. This role is a true floor leader—you’ll be directly managing teams, solving real-time production issues, and pushing continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise production teams, assign work, and manage daily staffing needs
• Run shift meetings to communicate KPIs, priorities, and production goals
• Coach, train, and hold employees accountable for performance
• Execute production schedules to meet on-time delivery targets
• Partner with Engineering and Quality to resolve production issues quickly
• Enforce adherence to work instructions, specs, and inspection standards
• Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA)
• Manage nonconforming material and ensure proper QMS documentation
• Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and certified product requirements (ATEX, IECEx, UL/FM as applicable)
• Identify and implement improvements in workflow, productivity, and efficiency
• Track labor, output, downtime, and shift KPIs
• Maintain training matrices and workforce skill development

Required:

• High School Diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred)
• 3–5+ years of production leadership experience (Lead or Supervisor level)
• Experience executing production schedules in a manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Lean manufacturing tools (5S/6S, Kaizen, takt time, waste reduction)
• ERP/MRP systems and production software
• Understanding of ISO 9001, quality inspections, and nonconformance handling

Nice to Have:

• Experience managing training matrices and certification programs
• Exposure to ATEX / IECEx or certified product manufacturing
