PRP Rehab Specialist

• Monitor all clients' charts for compliance with current regulatory body standards.
• Assist the Program Director to oversee staff training and staff development.
• Assist the Program Director to ensure that all client documentation is up to date per regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Program Director in leading site visits conducted by regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the daily program of rehabilitation services.
• Develops and assures that rehabilitation services meet the needs of the individuals served.
• Oversee the treatment planning and monitoring of progress for the caseloads of all rehabilitation coordinators.
• Ensure compliance for program safety.
• Provide crisis intervention and problem solving for Life Skills clients as needed.
• Assist staff in maintaining contact with community providers, treatment providers and family for collaboration of care.
• Recruit 10 new clients monthly
• Attend continuing education seminars to keep abreast of related field information.
• Ensure the program complies with the current regulatory body standards.
• Maintain and enforce company policies and procedure.
• Knowledge of CARF standards

This is a Full time position within the setting of an PHP/IOP for individuals with a psychiatric and substance abuse diagnosis. Each employee will be educated in his or her responsibilities as an Addiction Counselor working in the capacity at PBHS.

Pleasant Behavioral Health Systems provides intensive outpatient and mental health services for adults with serious mental illness, substance abuse, addictions and emotional/behavioral disorders who meet medical necessity criteria for services. These services are medically necessary to reduce the disability resulting from mental illness and assist in the recovery and resiliency of the recipient.

Services are home and community-based and are provided on an as needed basis to assist recipients in coping with the symptoms of their illness. The purpose of PBHS services is to minimize the disabling effects on an individual’s capacity for independent living and to prevent or limit the periods of inpatient treatment.
