Delivery Driver (FedEx Ground)

edEx Ground is looking for both Full-Time and Part-Time Workers for delivery drivers to distribute and pickup packages around the Fort Worth and Denton areas. The constant growth of FedEx has resulted in the need for additional staff that are willing to provide the team skills to provide safe and responsible service to FedEx customers.

This position is to service a route through an independent contract of FedEx Ground. The routes are “Go at your own pace” and Drivers are responsible for delivering 100-140 stops/day + Pickups at set times. Employees ability to “Go at your own pace” is dependent as long as packages and pickups get delivered for their scheduled day. Most Drivers are done with work and delivering by 4:30-5:00 PM. Must be able to lift and deliver packages weighing up to 150 pounds (lbs.).

An Incentive Program will be in effect for Peak Season. Allowing Drivers to receive higher pay per week. Rough Estimation of Weekly pay is ($900 per week or more).

Role:

• Full time position based out of the FedEx Ground terminal in Fort Worth / Alliance, TX. Drivers are expected to report to the FedEx Terminal between 7:00am - 7:45am. Trucks are loaded by FedEx personnel and dispatched around 8:30am.
• Full Time Position Schedule is for Five Days out of the Week (Option for a 6th day)

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 1 year of commercial driving experience within the last 3 years (non-CDL, Uber and Lyft qualify)
• Be able to pas: Drug Test, Background Check and Physical exam.
• Valid Driver's License (CDL not required)
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds frequently and 100 pounds infrequently
• Must have reliable transportation to and from Terminal
• Ability to drive Standard preferred
• 21 years or older
