Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of scrub tech experience and RCIS certification for a 13-week acute care assignment.
Details
- Acute care setting within a Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 procedure rooms
- 8:00a-4:30p day shift schedule
- Call required 1-2 times per week and every 4th weekend
- Late team coverage required 1-2 times per week for procedures running past shift end
- Uses Epic charting system
- Equipment includes MacLab, ACIST injector, CSI, Laser, Shockwave, balloon pumps, temporary pacemakers, Impella devices, and Carto
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years scrub tech/sterile technique experience required
- Experience with vascular, coronary, and device implant procedures required
- EP procedure experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
- RCIS certification via CCI required, RCES also considered
- ARRT or CRT certification considered if cross-trained to scrub
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Assist physicians with heart catheterization procedures, peripheral interventions, pacemaker placements, and ablations
- Monitor patient vitals and perform charting during procedures
- Facility-issued scrubs provided
- Unit-specific training and orientation details discussed during interview
- Local candidates considered, with reduced pay rate for those living within 80 miles of the facility
