LWX Latitude Wines is an alcoholic beverage import and distribution company that specializes in wine and spirits. The company serves national and regional wine and spirit retailers, importing products from Europe, South America, and Australia and distributing nationally across the US.
The Logistics Coordinator supports the Domestic Distribution and Logistics Manager in executing the day-to-day movement of LWX product across the domestic and international supply chain. As part of a small, collaborative logistics team, this role tracks inbound containers and outbound shipments, keeps orders moving on schedule, reconciles warehouse inventory, and partners closely with third party carriers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time delivery.
Essential Responsibilities
Includes the following; other duties may be assigned.
Support Transportation OperationsALL Track shipments from booking through delivery
Monitor arrivals, clearance, and free-time deadlines to avoid demurrage and detention
Schedule pickups, delivery and receiving appointments with forwarders, carriers, and warehouses
Maintain accurate shipment milestones and documentation in the ERP and tracking tools
Support Warehouse Operations
Reconcile warehouse and 3PL inventory against ERP records and resolve discrepancies
Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and adjustment documentation
Verify receipts, transfers, and shipment confirmations are posted accurately and on time
Track damages, shortages, and overages and coordinate claims with warehouses and carriers
Support Service & Cost Optimization
Compile service data and scorecard inputs to support 3PL, warehouse, and carrier performance reviews
Monitor partners against service level expectations and follow up on corrective actions
Track freight, storage, and accessorial costs against contracted rates and identify savings opportunities
Recommend routing, consolidation, and scheduling improvements that reduce cost without reducing service
Contribute to reporting and dashboards on logistics service, cost, and partner performance
Key Performance Indicators
On-time shipment and delivery performance
Inventory accuracy and timely resolution of warehouse discrepancies
Supervisory Duties
This role has no direct reports and operates under the direction of Domestic Distribution and Logistics Manager
Competencies

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, import/export, order management, or warehouse operations
Experience using an ERP such as Teravina or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and strong proficiency with Excel
