What You'll Be Doing

As the Human Resources Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of HR while leading a small but mighty team.

Key Areas of Focus

Employee Relations & Compliance (50-60% of your role)
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulations
  • Guide employee relations matters with professionalism and empathy
  • Support investigations, documentation, and corrective action processes
  • Partner with leadership on complex people issues
Leave Administration & Workers' Compensation
  • Manage FMLA, ADA, and employee leave programs
  • Oversee workers' compensation processes and claims
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on leave-related concerns
HR Leadership
  • Supervise an HR Generalist and HR Assistant
  • Support front desk operations and employee-facing processes
  • Drive HR best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Talent & Organizational Support
  • Partner with leadership across multiple locations
  • Support onboarding, employee engagement, and retention efforts
  • Maintain HRIS data and reporting through Paylocity
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

✔ Bachelor's Degree

✔ Current or recent Human Resources Manager title

✔ Strong employment law and compliance experience

✔ Hands-on FMLA administration experience

✔ Workers' compensation experience

✔ Experience leading and developing employees

✔ Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally between facilities

✔ Passion for supporting a mission-driven organization

Nice to Have

⭐ SHRM certification (or willingness to obtain one)

⭐ Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, social services, or multi-site environments

⭐ Knowledge of Paylocity or similar HRIS platforms

Leadership Exposure

This role reports directly to the CEO and works closely with executive leadership across the organization, making it an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to grow their strategic influence and visibility.

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
