Ideally, you’ll bring at least one year of hands-on experience, whether it’s from home care, the hospital, or an assisted living setting. Being able to read and follow written instructions is essential, as you’ll be adhering to specific care plans tailored to your patients’ needs. Additionally, maintaining current CPR certification is a must, ensuring you're prepared for any situation.
