Our client, a highly regarded full-service law firm, is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to join its practice. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced bankruptcy practitioner with deep Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 experience who thrives representing diverse stakeholders in complex matters.
What You'll Work On:
- Handle Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy matters, including complex Chapter 11 cases
- Represent a wide range of stakeholders—secured and unsecured creditors, committees, Chapter 7 trustees, and debtors
- Advise on workouts, restructurings, and asset protection strategies for distressed clients across multiple industries
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, proofs of claim, and other bankruptcy-related filings
- Provide courtroom support and attend creditor meetings
- Communicate with Trustees, Bankruptcy Courts, local counsel, and debtors' attorneys
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy experience
- Licensed to practice in Texas
- Strong background in document review for distressed clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong judgment, and high professionalism
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong academic and professional credentials (transcript and writing sample required with resume submission)
