Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program; Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Valid Massachusetts State License in Radiation Control; Certification from an accredited CT program or current registration in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; 3 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist or 1 year current (within the last 5 years) CT Tech experience; Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Responsibilities include performing computerized tomography scans, positioning patients, maintaining equipment calibration, assist with contrast media administration if trained, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Skills and knowledge needed include operating control consoles, selecting proper imaging techniques, evaluating image quality, and following safety protocols.
• Additional Information: Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English; maintain knowledge of departmental policies; comply with infection control policies; participate in continuing education as directed by regulatory authorities; maintain confidentiality and ethical relationships with patients and staff; and perform other related duties as assigned.
