Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric echocardiograms, acquiring high-quality images and measurements according to department protocols.
- Independently operate ultrasound equipment, optimizing image quality for pediatric patients and fetal studies when needed.
- Upload Holter monitor data and blood pressure device data and ensure completeness of study information in the electronic health record.
- Document imaging studies accurately in the EMR (Epic Hyperspace Cadence Scheduling) and communicate findings to the cardiology team as appropriate.
- Collaborate with pediatric cardiology staff to coordinate patient care and coverage for inpatient, ED, and NICU as needed.
- Maintain safety and infection control standards, and participate in routine quality assurance procedures.

Requirements
- ARDMS RDCS-PE certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- 2+ years of pediatric echocardiography or pediatric echocardiographer/sonographer experience
- Ability to work independently and manage imaging studies in a fast-paced pediatric setting
- Experience with EPIC Hyperspace or similar EMR systems is preferred
