Job Details
- Position: X-Ray Tech
- Location: Wausau, WI
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour overnights
- Schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- On-Call: Not required
- Floating: May be required to float to other locations within the region as needed
- Routine diagnostic X-ray and portable imaging in a hospital setting
- Work with adult patients ranging from approximately age 30 through geriatrics
- Patient settings include ICU, cardiac care, med-surg, emergency care, and OR
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray Tech experience
- Prior travel experience required
- OR experience required
- Recent Level II Trauma experience required
- Experience in a 300+ bed facility within the last 2 years required
- ARRT (R) certification required
- Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist license required
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC required
- Must be skilled in positioning high-acuity patients
- Must be comfortable performing portable imaging and working in the OR
- Epic Radiant experience preferred, but not required
