Qualifications: 

  • Specific Degree- Master's Degree in Psychology
  • Specific license- PEL with the school psychology endorsement

Role Overview:
A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success.  The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.

Job Details:   

  • Schedule: 1.5 days/week - can be flexible on days
  • Dates: August 17th, 2026 - May 28th, 2027
  • Setting:  school setting, working on student evaluations
  • In-person
  • Estimated 12 hours per week
  • $60-$70 PER HOUR

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Administering diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments
  • Using intelligence and academic performance testing to determine student diagnoses and recommendations for specialized services
  • Observing students in various academic and social settings to gain insight and data into students' overall functioning in school
  • Providing consultative psychology services to parents and school staff as described in the IEP
