Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC
Contract: 13 Weeks
Shift: 4x10s or 5x8s, Days, 40 hrs/week
Start Date: 9/21/2026

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience; IR/Special Procedures experience.
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent + approved Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT required + active DC/state license.
  • BLS (AHA) required.
  • Must live 100+ miles from the facility.
  • Experience assisting physicians with interventional procedures, special procedures & imaging/scans.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety/quality standards required.

Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for radiological functions for special procedures and other interventional examinations.
  • Assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
  • Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol.
  • Observes patients during procedure and reports abnormal activity.
