Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a critical access hospital, requiring MN licensure and 1+ years of experience for a general outpatient/inpatient caseload.

Details

  • Acute care setting within a 25-bed critical access hospital with an outpatient department
  • General practice caseload spanning a wide variety of patient ages and diagnoses
  • Primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient cases
  • Day shift schedule with no nights or weekends, 36 hours per week
  • Some schedule flexibility available, similar to the current staff member's half-day Friday
  • Potential floating to Adrian Clinic and Rock Rapids Clinic, though primarily based at the Luverne location
  • Epic EMR used for documentation

Requirements

  • Current MN SLP license required (IA license preferred due to potential floating)
  • License required if applicable
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist required
  • General speech therapy skills and equipment knowledge

Additional Information

  • Perform general speech therapy duties across a wide variety of ages and diagnoses
  • Orientation includes department and hospital tour, documentation training, and equipment orientation
  • Staff available for support and questions during onboarding
  • Business casual dress code, including approved polo colors (ceil blue, khaki, gray, chocolate brown)
  • All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
  • Accepts local candidates
  • 80-mile radius rule applies for local pay adjustment
  • Candidates who previously worked for this health system must disclose this and have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
  • First-time travelers may be considered for this position
