About the Role:
Rossi Np Llc is looking for a passionate and skilled Italian Sauté Cook to join their kitchen team in New Port Richey, FL! Responsibilities:
- Execute sauté station duties with speed and precision during service
- Prepare authentic Italian sauces, pastas, proteins, and sautéed dishes to order
- Maintain proper mise en place and station organization throughout each shift
- Follow recipes, plating standards, and portion control guidelines consistently
- Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth, timely ticket flow
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage of ingredients
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health code standards at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a sauté cook or line cook, preferably in an Italian kitchen
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine, sauces, and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment
- Solid understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment
- Food Handler certification or ServSafe preferred
