Receptionist/Ophthalmic Technician

Responsibilities

* Greet and check in patients

* Answer phones and schedule appointments

* Verify patient information and insurance

* Assist with patient intake and medical history

* Perform basic ophthalmic testing and pre-testing

* Prepare patients for their exam

* Assist the physician as needed

* Maintain accurate and organized patient records

* Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

* Previous medical office, receptionist, or ophthalmic experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person

* Friendly and professional demeanor

* Reliable and dependable

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Comfortable working with patients of all ages

* Ability to multitask in a busy medical office
