Type: Ongoing contract
Position: Administrative Assistant PART TIME
Location: Culpeper, VA
Hours: Part-Time 25 hours per week (Flexible scheduling available; standard hours listed as 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM, but accommodations can be made for commitments like school drop-off/pick-up to complete the 5 daily hours)
OVERVIEW:
Seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to help keep operations running smoothly while current administrator is on an indefinite leave. This role will perform routine administrative functions such as coordinating uniforms, scheduling appointments, assisting with badge security maintenance, organizing files, and providing information to callers.
JOB DUTIES & FUNCTIONS:
-- Answer telephones to direct calls or provide information.
-- Greet customers, patrons, or visitors and refer them to appropriate personnel.
-- Operate computers and communications equipment.
-- Enter information into databases or software programs.
-- Select resources needed to accomplish tasks.
-- Schedule appointments.
-- Order materials, supplies, or equipment.
-- Search files, databases, or reference materials to obtain needed information.
-- Distribute incoming mail.
-- Maintain relationships with vendors.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
-- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
-- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or applicable skills from a similar industry.
-- U.S. Person Requirement: This position is subject to the requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be a U.S. person defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
