CPA/Partner

Our client seeks a CPA/Manager/Senior Manager/Partner to join an established CPA firm with a clear and defined path to Partner. This position is a planned succession to an existing Partner.

This is a full-time direct hire opportunity where you will earn a competitive salary, based on your experience. This position is 100% onsite.

To be considered for this succession plan/path to Partner position, you must have:

• Active CPA (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Extensive experience with tax preparation and review
• Leadership experience
• Proven ability to oversee, train, mentor, and manage a team of tax professionals
• Experience managing and leading a team
• Strong technical tax knowledge
• Process improvement mindset
• Experience with operations, workflow optimization and/or practice management
• Experience in a small-to-mid-sized CPA firm
• Proven ability and success with business development
• Strong attention to details
• Ability to learn quickly
• Entrepreneurial and ownership mindset
• Solutions-focused mindset

Some of your responsibilities as successor to Partner will include:

• Working closely with current leadership
• Learning firm operations
• Transitioning into a full Partner role within 1-2 years (potentially sooner based on performance)
• Preparing and reviewing complex individual, business and partnership tax returns
• Overseeing and managing a team of tax professionals
• Training and mentoring
• Leading client relationships
• Serving as a trusted advisor to business owners and high-net-worth individuals
• Collaborating with current Partners on firm strategy, growth and succession planning
• Assuming leadership and ownership responsibilities as part of the Partner transition
• Assisting with operational oversight
• Developing, implementing and improving firm processes, efficiencies, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
