Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a commercial construction foreman to work with, oversee and manage a team on a local construction site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction management knowledge, and familiarity with industry-standard software and tools. This role offers an opportunity to lead teams, coordinate complex projects, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to meet project milestones and deliverables
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety procedures on-site
- Supervise a team of workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Will be a working member of the team.
- Familiarity with a JHA (Job Hazard Analysis)
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret, blueprints, structural drawings, and building codes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proficiency in, or ability to learn, construction management software
