Community Outreach & Victim/Family Support Specialist

Position Summary

Boxwood Learning Center is seeking a compassionate, experienced Community Outreach & Victim/Family Support Specialist to engage youth and families and connect them with services, resources, and community supports.

This position focuses on supporting youth and families impacted by crime, violence, trauma, family crisis, and other significant life challenges. The ideal candidate has experience in victim services, a Family Crisis Intervention Unit, behavioral health, case management, or a similar community-based setting.

Preferred Experience

Experience with adolescents and young adults, community violence, domestic violence, juvenile justice, housing instability, restorative practices, crisis intervention, family meetings, workshops, or community-based violence prevention is preferred.

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 25 hours per week. Some after-school, evening, and occasional weekend availability may be required based on program needs.
