Prep Cook

Position Summary

The Cook / Prep Team Member is responsible for preparing fresh ingredients, making dough, assembling pizzas, cooking food to company standards, maintaining food safety, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. This position requires someone who works with urgency, follows recipes, and enjoys being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh dough, sauces, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other ingredients.
• Stretch dough and build pizzas according to company recipes.
• Prepare buffet pizzas throughout the shift while maintaining product quality.
• Cook pizzas, pasta, wings, desserts, and other menu items.
• Monitor buffet levels and replenish products as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department requirements.
• Label, date, rotate, and properly store food using FIFO procedures.
• Wash dishes, clean equipment, and maintain a clean kitchen throughout the shift.
• Assist with truck deliveries and stocking inventory.
• Complete opening, shift, and closing cleaning assignments.
• Work efficiently with other team members during busy meal periods.
• Follow all company recipes, portion standards, and operating procedures.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food Handler Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
