Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to oversee the high-profile renovation of two iconic, historic hotel properties located in St. Louis, Missouri, and Amarillo, Texas. This role requires a unique blend of expertise in historic preservation and luxury hospitality standards.
Position Overview
- Role: Senior Project Manager (Historic Hospitality)
- Locations: St. Louis, MO or Amarillo, TX (Regional travel required)

- Reports To: Ownership Group
Key Responsibilities
- Project Oversight: Lead all phases of renovation from pre-construction through handover for both historic properties.
- Historic Compliance: Ensure all design and construction work complies with local historic preservation guidelines and National Park Service (NPS) standards for historic tax credits.
- Vendor Management: Select, contract, and manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors and related parties.
- Budget & Schedule: Maintain strict control over multi-million dollar budgets, capital expenditure tracking, and project milestones.
- Quality Control: Uphold premium luxury hospitality standards while integrating modern infrastructure (HVAC, MEP, MEPFS) into historic structures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years in construction project management, specifically focusing on historic preservation and/or hospitality/hotel renovations.
- Skills: Proficient in project management software (Procore, MS Project), deep understanding of structural complexities in aging buildings, and strong negotiation skills.
- Travel: Ability to be on-site at the St. Louis or Amarillo project sites to oversee local teams and field operations.
