Welder - Now Hiring

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and fabrication, is seeking a Welder to join their team. As a Welder, you will be part of the Industrial department supporting the fabrication and repair processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Welder

Location: Clare, MI

Pay Range: $21

Shift: 10 pm to 6 am, Sunday through Friday (OT is scheduled prior to start time)

What's the Job?

• Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials using appropriate techniques and welding devices.
• Position parts according to work orders, routings, prints, and knowledge of the unit.
• Regulate welding machines for proper weld current, wire feed, and gas flow.
• Ensure the fit, function, and aesthetics meet or exceed quality standards.
• Remove weld imperfections and document all work-related information accurately.

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of MIG and TIG welding experience.
• Knowledge of blueprints and welding symbols preferred.
• Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and solve practical fabrication problems.
