Records Manager

Our client,global nonprofit is seeking a Records Manager  to join their team.. The ideal candidate will have Strong project management, analytical and Critical thinking and effective communication skills.

Job Title: Records Manager - 1 year position 

Location: Washington DC  

Pay Range:  $35 - $40

 

What’s the Job?

• Create and execute a comprehensive processing plan for the analog materials 
• Arrange, describe, and catalog archival materials in accordance with Describing Archives standard
• Develop detailed catalog records and findings aid to support discovery
• Process photographic materials including slides, negatives, prints, notebooks, gear and ephemera

What’s Needed?

• Degree in Library Science, Archives, or Museum Studies
• 3 or more years of professional archival management experience
• Strong organizational, analytical and research skills
• Knowledge of collection management software
