Mig Welder

Shift: 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm
Employment: Full-Time
Industry: Metal Fabrication

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals as required.
• Weld fabricated components and assemblies according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Set up welding machines and select appropriate settings for each job.
• Read and interpret welding symbols, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and appearance.
• Use grinders, saws, drills, and other fabrication equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate dimensions and tolerances throughout the fabrication process.
• Perform basic fit-up, grinding, and material preparation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous MIG welding experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and welding symbols.
• Experience with weld fit-up and fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to use tape measures, squares, calipers, and other measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Welding certification is a plus but not required.
