Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 3+ years of experience and required California CRT license for a cardiac intervention radiology room with structural heart capabilities.
Details
- Cardiac interventional radiology room with structural heart capabilities
- 3 procedure rooms with an average daily census of 15
- Monday-Friday day shifts, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM or 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- On-call requirement of 3 call shifts within a two-week period
- Weekend call required approximately every 6 weeks
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Cath Lab / EP procedures required
- California CRT state license required and must be in hand at time of submission (license required if applicable)
- Current ACLS, ARRT-R, BLS, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
- CCI RCIS certification preferred
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Skilled in venous access, central line care, and vascular closure systems
- Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including PCI, PTCA, and pacemaker insertion
- Experience with TAVR and Watchman procedures preferred
- Carotid stenting and thrombolysis/thrombectomy experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and vascular access management
- Duties include equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Scrubs provided
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
- Travelers may be required to float between sister facilities within the health system
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
- RTO requests limited to no more than 7 days and must be submitted upfront
- Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
- Former Providence permanent employees must wait at least 3 months and reside outside a 50-mile radius before returning as a traveler
- Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required
