Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AA completion required.

Requirements:

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health and no current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Monument Health.

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years minimum with coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral experience. First-time travelers allowed if very experienced in coronary, structural heart, complex PCI, and peripheral cases. Must be able to perform table movement (panning). Arrhythmia recognition and treatment skills required.

Special Requests: You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.

Unit Details: Patient population includes coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, complex total occlusions, valvular disease, renal disease, carotid stenosis, peripheral stenosis, and thrombosis disease; cases include diagnostic cath procedures, limb salvage, Impella insertion, and LVAD insertions. RN ratio: 1:1. Uses Epic Cupid, Alaris, and Omnicell.

Shift & Scheduling: Schedule is primarily 4x10-hour day shifts (40 hours/week). Some weeks may rotate to 3x12-hour night shifts, with the option to come in early to make up the additional 4 hours. There may be occasional weeks where the total is 36 hours instead of 40. Variable shifts are kept in weekly blocks; if assigned nights, it would be for the week. Day shifts are either D10 or D12 starting at 0600. Night shifts are 1800-0600. Weekend rotation: every 4th weekend. On-call 1-2 days per week from 1630-0600 and every 4th weekend from 1630 Friday to 0600 Monday. Holiday requirement: possibly 1 per assignment.

Floating Requirements: Will not have to float to IR; IR and Cath Lab are separate departments.

14 days maximum time off

2 Manager/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certification CI
