Paralegal

Our client, a reputable legal services provider, is seeking a Paralegal to join their team. As a Paralegal, you will be part of the legal support department supporting attorneys and legal professionals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Paralegal

Location: Las Cruces, NM

Pay Range: $27.37 to $41.06/hr

Shift: 8am to 5pm 

What's the Job?

• Assist attorneys with case preparation, trial support, and litigation processes
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and reports
• Organize, maintain, and manage case files and legal records
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, depositions, hearings, and client interviews

What's Needed?

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field (preferred)
• Paralegal certification is a plus
• Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience preferred
• Knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and legal documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
